# AutoDub

> Free Chrome and Edge extension that dubs YouTube videos with AI voice into 40+ languages, with bilingual subtitles. No account needed. Listen to YouTube in your language instead of reading subtitles.

## What it is

AutoDub is a browser extension. It runs only inside YouTube's player. When a user opens a YouTube video, AutoDub generates AI voice dubbing in the user's chosen target language and plays it in sync with the video. It also overlays bilingual subtitles. Works in Chrome, Edge, and other Chromium-based browsers.

It does not translate arbitrary websites, download video files, or generate subtitles for videos the user uploads. Live streams are not supported.
