Install the AutoDub Extension
Open the store for your browser, choose Add to Chrome or Add to Firefox, then confirm the permissions. In Edge or Brave, use the Chrome Web Store. Reload an already-open YouTube tab after installation.
AutoDub works on YouTube videos. Use desktop Chrome, Edge, Brave or Firefox with an internet connection. Live streams, the YouTube mobile app and dubbed-video downloads are not supported.
The easiest way to install AutoDub is from the Chrome Web Store .
On Firefox, install AutoDub from Firefox Add-ons.
Manual Installation in Chrome
Manual installation depends on your browser, operating system and organization policies; a downloaded CRX may be blocked. Use the store when available. Developer mode does not guarantee that Chrome will accept the package.
Download Extension Package (.crx)After downloading, follow the steps below.
1Download the .crx file using the button above
2Open Chrome
3Paste chrome://extensions/ into the address bar and press Enter to open the extensions page
4Turn on "Developer mode" in the top-right corner of the page
5Drag the downloaded .crx file onto the extensions page
6After installation, reload an open YouTube video. Move your pointer over the player to reveal the controls, then click AutoDub on the right.

In the panel, choose the language you want to hear and a voice. AutoDub detects the video’s original language automatically.
